"This microwave is and does what it says in the description, looks great and in the short time it's been installed has worked well. The installation instructions however leave something to be desired. Like so many these days they are 'picture only' and it took me some head scratching to figure out what was needed and what was to be discarded. "

"First of all we were surprised by the weight of this unit, certainly considerably heavier than standalone microwaves that we had owned up until this time. But the build quality is undoubtedly good and it looks very nice in our new kitchen. The controls aren't as intuitive as some models we have owned previously but , after reading the instructions and using it a few times, you soon get used to them and it is nice and quiet in operation. It doesn't let you forget about anything that you've left in there either, periodically sounding a beep to make sure that you know. All in all a very good buy with just the right amount of functions. Looks good to in our new kitchen. Highly recommended."

"This was a replacement for similar 11 year old model which was used continuously. Looks and build quality are typical of Siemens appliances.I expect this one to go for another 11 years."
