"We ordered a Smeg dishwasher to replace a Bosch which we had for a week, but had a faulty heat pump and kept tripping the electrical circuit.
The Smeg was slightly cheaper and as the reviews looked favourable, we decided to go for it.
Our previous Neff had lasted 15 years but was beyond economic repair.
The Smeg was easy enough to install, the only difference being the door attachment which is sliding instead of fixed. Instructions and YouTube made it straightforward.
So far, so good. The quality of the shelves maybe a bit flimsier than Neff, but like that it comes with a cutlery basket and third shelf/ cutlery tray.
Cleans dishes well as and is very quiet. Red light when it is operating is good.
If it lasts for even half the time of our Neff, we will be happy."
"My previous dishwasher was a Smeg and I was always impressed with it and how well it dried everything perfectly on the top shelf. It died about 5 months ago and I was determined to wait for a new SMEG. I am very pleased with my new Smeg and it has so many more features than my old one. 10 programs, glass wash, rinse and so much more led light on the floor so you are aware it is on , a cutlery tray above the top basket and a cutlery basket on the bottom tray as well. I love it! "
"Beautiful product, love how quiet and energy efficient it is. Would highly recommend this over a Bosch any day. I know it's a bit of a silly thing to love, but I really like the small light that illuminates on the floor beneath the dishwasher to tell you if the cycle is complete."

"We've had the dishwasher installed for about a week now and so far everything is working great. Dishes come out clean and sparkling. However, we're struggling to get our heads around the different programme options - SMEG manuals are not very user friendly! So haven't quite found the right programme for us. It's great to have a quick option of 27 mins but all the others seem to be over 2, 3 and 4 hours long. Hoping we will find a middle ground somewhere. We love the ecosave feature which automatically opens the door slightly towards the end of the cycle to let the steam out and so aid drying. This feature can not be used on quicker cycles though, and without it items are very wet and need drying with a towel even after having been left to air dry for a bit. We also love the cutlery tray at the top - it makes the whole thing much bigger than our previous machine which was the same size. So far we are happy, but it has only been a week - the real test will be once it has had a bit of use, or if it has a technical problem, and how that gets sorted."

"Had my new Dishwasher a week now and everything about it feels quality..its quiet, washes superbly with many programed options and after the cycle has finished the door pops open. At the moment can't fault it."
