"Brilliant product. Quality is top notch. I bought the Apple TV 4k mainly to stream my Zwift/cycling workouts on our smart tv but would also consider to subscribe to watch movies and series from Apple in the future as the content looks promising. This is what an entertainment room only needs. The device did not come with an HDMI cable but that’s easy enough to get."

"Still the best interface to access all the TV apps - Netflix, Prime, Iplayer etc. Also brilliant to access home servers through the VLC downloadable app. Quick to use, easy to access any apple photos, videos and share your screen. Now with Spotify and other music apps. Also supports Dolby vision with an enabled TV. Simply the quickest and best HMDI device to connect your TV too."

"Decided to switch from the TV built in services for the Apple TV 4K as future apps not supported on our TV. Includes a free years subscription to Apple TV whilst supporting all the other major services, including Netflix, Amazon, Now TV and Disney+ from March 2020. Video quality is great. One criticism so far would be slow load time for adverts when connected to the internet over WiFi. Ethernet connection over the power line solved this "

"The Apple TV 4K is an extraordinary little device with big capabilities. Not only can you access the various streaming TV services such as Netflix, Disney, BT Sport, Now TV (and others) you also at the time of writing get a year's free access to Apple TV+ service. You can watch all the catchup channels such as iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, and My 5.
With this device you can also buy or rent films and individual TV episodes and series.
In addition to the television programmes, you can add a number of apps to enhance the Apple TV 4K's abilities to play games, watch YouTube videos, tell the weather forecast, or simply tell you the names of constellations of stars in the night's sky. More apps enhancing the Apply TV's abilities are being released all the time.
One paid app I use allows me to films and TV shows that I have on my computer, in all manner of formats, onto my television.
I have two Apple TV 4Ks and am able to start watching a TV programme on iPlayer in my kitchen, then pick it up at exactly the place where I left it, several minutes later, in my living room on my second Apple TV 4K.
It's a fairly easy device to install, although it probably helps to have some knowledge about computers to may the process go smoothly.
The remote control is extremely simply to use, although given its small size, I imagine it might be easy to lose down the back of the sofa. If you would prefer, you can use voice control to interact with your Apple TV 4K. It truly is a marvel.
