"Second LG washing machine we have bought. First one lasted over ten years. The new washing machine is excellent and the direct drive makes it very quiet when spinning. Would definitely recommend ."

"A little complicated and as i’m not overly technical i probably wont use the downloadable programs for it but as a standard out of the box machine it’s suitable for a large family with a good capacity and is not overly noisy compared to previous machines."

"Washes well, spin is good (gets clothes drier than our previous machine). Reasonable selection of programmes. Like all new appliances it takes time to get used to how they work, but this seems god so far. Now all we have to do is work out how to disable the irritating jingle it plays at the start and end of programmes!"

"This is our second LG machine after previously having a 7kg capacity older version. I’m pleased with the range of programmes and the cleaning quality and it’s nice and quiet (perfect for us as our home is open plan). The machine takes a big load which is great now we have two kids. My only gripe is with the child lock - while it disables the programme buttons, the power button remains “unlocked” so my kids can still turn the machine off mid cycle. I guess this is a safety feature in case you need to turn it off in an emergency but it is really annoying. Particularly as my 18 month old is fascinated with the buttons as they play a tune when pressed. Also, don’t be deceived by the size of the door - the opening to the drum is standard size, it’s just the door that is massive. All in all I would buy LG again.
Be aware also that the ability to download programmes and control with your phone only works on Android, not iPhone. "
