"Really happy with this machine, it does exactly what you’d expect. Washes clothes and does it well.
My favourite feature I have to say is how super quiet it is on full spin. Very impressed

"I am so glad that we chose this washing machine over the Samsung as the materials used around the drum are of better quality and the reviews for this one are WAY BETTER!
The build quality on the outside feels really good in that it is strong and sturdy and things like the detergent tray and door hinges are also not flimsy like cheaper makes.
A BIG PLUS is that it has a 10 year warranty (which we knew nothing about) on the motor parts which is AWESOME! You also get a 2 year manufacturing guarentee (automatically) on this machine but if you register it on LG's website, app or over the phone with them, you get it topped up by another 3 years!!! That's a total of 5 YEARS MANUFACTURER'S GUARENTEE!!! The same as Samsung but way better as this feels like it will last MUCH LONGER, for years and years to come.
But in saying this though one downside I have discovered when opening the front loading door ever so gently is that the lock/latch is really poorly made and designed. You just know that this will probably be the 1st and hopefully the only thing to break because of how poorly it was made. The latch has a small plastic hook which almost feels like it is going to break as it snaps (the sound it makes) into/out of place when opening and closing the door which has made me very weary when doing so. The other thing... and I don't know whether it's because I have gotten something wrong, but there is still a medium amount of fabric softener left behind in the allocated fabric softener slot of the dispenser draw after your washing is done. So again, I don't know whether it's just me over-filling it (it's always under the maximum mark) or just another flaw of this machine?? The clothes, after being washed, smells fine though. They are getting rinsed with softener. It's just that I know with experience that left over softener causes black mould to build up inside the dispenser draw. Those are the only negatives that I have come across so far.
It has a lot and I mean A LOT of different settings! Even ones you can download through the LG washing machine's dedicated app on your phone which you can transmit to the washing machine on the touch pad (on the washing machine itself- Amazing! It is quite quiet when washing clothes - even during the spin cycle! We live in a one bedroom flat and cannot hear it in the next room through the plaster board walls. It even plays a nice melody when it has finished washing your clothes, to let you know that it's done.
The Child locking feature is amazing! Especially like ourselves and families with a small toddler who loves pressing buttons and turning knobs! It helps a lot!
The look of this machine too is very appealing to the eye and stands out as being really nice looking appliance. It just oozes with that technology advancement look.
I would definitely buy this all over again and would honestly and highly recommend it to others."

"Got this to replace yet another short lived Hotpoint / Hoover experience (never again). This washer is on another level - fantastic build quality, lovely and quiet and the programmes are all configurable (temp, spin speed etc). We haven't suffered with the water hammer some have. In response to reviews mentioning long cycle times, if you use the 'time saver' option, a cottons wash can take well under 90 minutes, depending on load. Oh,and a 5 year warranty too!"
