"Have just switched from gas to induction, and this is my first time using an induction hob, so still getting used to it. It seems ok but it's taking a while to use it intuitively. Had a frustrating experience cooking experience one time, with it just not warming the pan properly, but I then realised it was the pan rather than the hob. It was one of my old pans which was induction suitable, but it's just not good enough to heat consistently (in the way that my new pans are). On the plus side, I'm used to taking the pan off the stove while cooking to give it a jig and was worried I wouldn't be able to do that with induction, but the hob simply turns off momentarily and then remembers the setting when you place the pan down again. Takes longer than expected to cool down after turning it off."

"Excellent product, purchased as it can be connected to a 13 amp supply. Even at this reduced power the hob functions well and you would never notice unless trying to use multiple areas at full power. Overall, highly recommended."

"This is our first hob away from gas and we should have done it years ago. Effortlessly stylish and typically well made and designed, the Siemens induction hob has great functionality too. We can prepare and cook lots of different foods at once with great control ability. And it’s so easy to clean compared to the old hob with its black pot stands that were such high maintenance. The new hob also sits beautifully in our new stone worktop. Admittedly, I was initially sceptical about making the change to induction but I really shouldn’t have worried. The other half was right. For once:)"
