"This is a very well made cooker hood and it looks good in our modern kitchen. The fitting instructions are confusing and I think that the method of securing the appliance to the wall should be redesigned to make it easier to adjust the level. The flaps of the anti-blowback valve are difficult to fit correctly so make sure you do it before mounting the hood on the wall. Once fitted it works well and is not too noisy and the LED lights are very good as are the touch controls on the front panel. Our kitchen does not have a particularly low ceiling but the sections of the stainless steel chimney are too long to fit between the top of the hood and the ceiling. I'll have to cut both of them to make them fit as suggested in the graphic-only instructions. Samsung should have made the chimney in three section instead of two to avoid this problem. the fitting instructions need to be rewritten with clearer illustrations and some text for clarity."

"Very smart looking hood - very pleased with it generally so far although we have only had it for under 1 month. Lights are really good on it too.
The hood contains a charcoal filter - the instructions for that are not clear in the package. It is also fairly noisy, but you expect that for high flow rate hoods.
You need to carefully check the height though - there are different minimum heights if externally extracting and it didn't look to me like the details were even correct for that on the Samsung website after measuring it up - you do need to watch it as some dimensions are just the chimney height and others are chimney plus thickness of base section.
Overall very happy with it though so far."

"I haven't get it fitted so I can't tell about it's performance but when I opened it, it made me smile. It looks good and very high quality hopefully it will work the same way as it looks. "

"Very attractive Cooker hood and an excellent match for my Smeg Range.
Pictorial instructions not easy to follow and chimney too tall so had to reduce length of both sections.
Fan noise on low setting in my small kitchen may discourage use."
