"As others have mentioned there is a knocking sound but seems to decrease the longer the dryer runs, As for the longer running times it not a problem and the size of the drum makes up for that. So far no problems and its simple to use. My last hoover tumble dryer is still working after 20yrs I hope this can do at least half that."

"Seems to work well, a decent sized load takes 2 to 2.5 hrs to dry. I think that those complaining about the time it takes are comparing to the old style of dryer (which use far more energy). If you take this for what it is, a far more efficient machine, then the time seems reasonable to me. Water reservoir easy to empty. Not overly noisy, ours is in a utility room, but if it was going in an open plan house/flat it may be a bit obtrusive. "
