"Had this machine for about a week now , took me a long time to decide after considering lots of different ones, but went with this because of the price and features and a 5 year guarantee.
This machine is so quiet, it’s unbelievable. The last washer I had was very loud this one isn’t at all. It gets a little bit louder on the spin and when you hear the pipes and the water going, but even that’s very mild.
I love that the washing cycles aren’t too long and there’s a quick wash option.
It washes really well
The only negative I’ll say is that it’s a quite a heavy machine but that seems to be standard nowadays.

"Ok, we've only had this machine a week but I'm very pleased with it so far. Has a good array of cycles and none of them are excessively long. Some days I do 3-4 loads so a good daily wash that takes around an hour is ideal.
It took us a few attempts to get the machine fully level, but now it is dear lord it's quiet!! Other reviews mention not being sure it's actually on at the start of the cycle and they're right. It's so quiet throughout, a very pleasant change from our 10yr old Samsung.
I switched the tones on so I am alerted when it's finished as you wouldn't know by sound alone.
I particularly like being able to adapt any cycle to temp/spin settings as required.
I was honestly a little wary of buying a relatively unknown brand but am very pleased, and would recommend.
Obviously the only thing I can't comment on is longevity. We decided to buy a slightly more expensive machine in the hope it would last longer but only time will tell on that one. The 5yr warranty makes me quite hopeful though. "

"Our washer leaked and smelt of burning after 18 months of use, could not contact Haier via webform, customer support stated my warranty was void as I moved it outside, from inside of our property. Seems Heath and Safety isn't the priority of Haier, so removing a potential fire hazard from a family of four's home is wrong Haier.

"For the first time ever I actually look forward to doing the washing with this machine. The washes are amazing compared to the previous Indesit I owned. So quiet and easy to program and the quick wash, controlled by time or temperature, is an absolute winner."

"Been a maintenance engineer for 40+ years, this thing is over and above any similaly priced machine by a mile.
Very heavy to install under a worktop, but as long as the floor is flat, level up prior to installing under worktop (drop of washing up liquid under back feet makes sliding into place a lot easier) and machine produces very very small amount of shake with no vibration and more importantly not walking around the kitchen like the previous machine.
Many comments about how quiet this machine is, the pump and doorlock are noisiest things, luckily you only hear the doorlock on startup and end, pump runs intermitantly when emptying/spinning and again is not annoying.
Controls how simple do you want them, selector knob programs for cotton/mixed both weight clothes automatically and change fill and wash time, for those with more specific demands, then the options panel will be handy.
Just to help avoid confusion I would like to point out main difference between Haier machines.
B14636 model basic great washing machine.
B1439 is the steam enabled variant, with a more see through door still tinted, so your choice.
I really cannot fault this machine, compared samsung and lg, watch some youtube videos to compare, especially the champagne glasses they plonked one of these direct drive Haiers on and set it to spin lol, no broken glass lovely, be safe "
