"Beautifully quiet; like a premium brand. Through parts of the cycle you almost can't tell it's "on" - almost the noisiest thing is the sound of the water sloshing about (although the vigorous main spin is more like a regular washing machine in terms of noise levels, but still considerably quieter than my old machine!)
This washing machine has a slightly smaller footprint than many other washers - important if (like us) you have a tight space you need to fit it into. Nonetheless it still manages to have a decent drum capacity (better than my last washer) and a faster top spin speed.
Great wash quality and quicker duration than my last washer; excellent variety of easy-to-select programs.
Simple to tweak the spin speed or add an extra rinse if you want to deviate slightly from the chosen program's defaults.
Really easy to use.
Love the "countdown" feature that lets you know how long the wash cycle has left to run,
Haier are one of the biggest brands in the world that you've maybe never heard of. I'm pleased I took a punt. I think the premium brands may need to start looking over their shoulders. Haier is coming for you.

"Bought this model as it is quieter than other models. You can hear the water sloshing about and the spin noise is affected by the weight of laundry. But the motor noise is reduced and the range of programs good. The 15mins fast wash is great when you’re in a hurry. "

"We bought this purely based on it being one of the quietest washing machines as we have an open plan kitchen / living room. It is perfect, the spin is barely noticeable. Good choice of wash programmes. Only slight negative is that it turns off when finished without a beep and the display isn’t lit so I have been forgetting to take the washing out. It’s not enough to lose a star as everything else is excellent."
