"Having previously had a Samsung that the motor fell, I needed a new machine. Also this month I had to purchase gas cooker so was looking for a budget model washing machine. I am delighted to say that this has fulfilled all my wishes. The only thing I miss about the Samsung is the little tune at the end. I have told lots of people how impressed I am with the Haier brand"

"Not a bad washing machine all in all. Came with a faulty power button though and the manufacturers website isn't that great. I couldn't choose my model on the website which makes it really hard to log a service ticket."

"Nice looking washing machine it is very quiet i have only given 4 stars for build quality because we have only had this machine for a short while so time will tell great load capacity after having a 7 kg machine. Gave it 4 star on features it could do with a warning tone when it finished it's wash as it is so quiet. But for the money i think it is good value."

"We love this machine. I was incredibly surprised at the size of the drum, at 10kg it is very large and can easily fit a duvet in, which is perfect for my large, busy household. The porthole is also sizeable, so no problems getting large amounts of washing in and out (which is a twice daily occurrence in our household!).
The program length is quicker than my last machine too, which suits our hectic lifestyle. A 40 degree daily wash lasts 1 hour and 1 minute. I am also over the moon at how quiet the Haier Hatrium HW100-B14636 is, you can barely hear it during a wash.
Stain removal is impressive! I washed a white polo shirt, which was covered in mango chutney, on a 30 degree wash and it came out no problem at all. All of the shirts and t-shirts seem less creased as well, so much easier for ironing. I think this is due to the large drum size.
The Haier Hatruim HW100-B14636 is very good for a child friendly household. The 'pause' button is a joyful feature! Another excellent feature is the child lock, preventing little people changing the settings! There is also a 'baby care' wash, perfect for getting those baby clothes stain free but still soft and comfortable. I have not seen this feature on a washing machine before.
It's wonderful that this machine also comes with a valuable lifetime warranty. One of the key things that made me choose the Haier Hatrium HW100-B14636 is the energy rating A+++.
The controls for this model are very easy to use with an LCD screen combined with a spin dial and some push buttons. Selecting your wash is very straightforward and there is no need to have to keep referring to the instruction manual, phew!
If I had to provide any constructive criticism on this machine then I would draw your attention to the dimensions of the machine. The depth of the machine is actually 65cm deep, not the advertised 60cm. The porthole cover is prominent and I'm not sure the dimensions take this fully into account. It didn't pose a problem for us as we had more than enough space to incorporate it but it's certainly something that you might want to take into account if you are tight on space.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Haier Hatrium HW100-B14636. It's modern sleek appearance is endearing and we have been very happy with the performance and energy rating of the machine."
