"I bought this as a like for like to replace my old whirlpool hob, its great, heats as quickly as any solid plate hob, but cools faster than my old one! I used to get the pot boiling and then turn the heat right down straight away because these hobs take time to cool, so your pot stays bubbling for longer even with temp dial turned down. However this one cools quite quickly so i have to keep turning the heat up a little to get it simmering! Just a matter of getting used to it but really pleased as i have a cat who loves to investigate when ive been cooking and the fact it cools quicker, means i leave a cold pan of water on the hob for less time! Great buy if you are on a budge and looks great."

"I had to replace my Aeg electric hob which I had for last 20years, the indesit solid plate was the right size to fit into the existing worktop, it fitted very well, and does the job brilliantly, easy to use knobs, heat colour indicator, useful to know if you if still hot to touch.
Easy to clean good quality stainless steel. Four good sized plates for cooking using different pans.overall very pleased with the product."

"This hob provides all that is required for all forms of cooking. The wiring is straight forward and is located at the back of the unit which to me is a better option than some hobs which wire at the front. The overall quality appears very good. Did consider replacing the element which was faulty on the old hob but with this having the normal 12 months guarantee decided against."

"This item was purchased to replace an induction hob in our Village Hall that was too difficult to use. This is a simple hob that will enable cooking in any type of pan. Simple to install and an attractive looking item."
