"After my hob went "bang!" from over heating 3 days ago, I needed a quick replacement at an affordable price. This is the first time I have used AO and I was surprised at the large range they had.
I chose this job for looks, price and based on the reviews. Well, I made the right choice! I got next day delivery for £20, I wasn't to happy with this but what could I do? I need to eat! Anyway, I was offered free disposal of my old hob for being a new customer (usually £15) and a representative called me up to confirm my order and offered me additional protection (sales person was pleasant and not at all pushy and didn't try to persuade me when I gave I said I did not require the cover).
The hob arrived and I wired it in myself which was a doddle and anyone with basic DIY skills could do it.
The hob itself looks really good and it boils a lot faster than my old hob so I know it is probably more energy efficient. The controls are responsive and I love the fact there are no grime attracting knobs to deal with. My wife didn't even look at the user manual and worked everything out in less than a couple minutes.
Over all, I would recommend this hob and we have already decided to integrate it into our new kitchen when the time comes!"
"The hob worktop works fine but I am disappointed that the etched hotplate circles in the top do not align with the heating elements. When hot, the elements are clearly out of alignment with the top markings. The hob is a single unit so this must be a manufacturing fault.
Also, the package did not include a sealing strip."

"Worth every penny. It does exactly what's it's suppose to do. The only negative thing I would mention is that the arrow/marker on the dials be a different colour so it's easier to see. "
