"This is the first time we've bought a Hisense item and, so far, we haven't been disappointed. This is an American "style" fridge freezer so is smaller than your normal American f/f but, at the same time, bigger than just a normal f/f!
Reading some of the reviews prior to purchasing this, we were concerned that some people mentioned that you had to open the water dispenser door before you could open the door which contained the milk. This is not the case - either door can be opened independently of the other. There is a folding "clapboard" on the milk door which takes care of the closing and sealing when you've opened that door on it's own. So don't be put off by that.
Size wise it was perfect for us. We are using this as a secondary f/f which is in our utility room (we have an integrated f/f in the kitchen but wish I could put this one in instead!). And it's like a tardis when you go to fill it. So much room in both the fridge and the freezer. And the freezer drawers are deep compartments rather than just small drawers with flimsy drawer fronts which snap off which happened to our old one. Whilst the width of the unit is 70cm, you also need to allow a bit of room for the doors to open so it's not good to go directly against a wall at the side of it. You need a minimum of 100mm from the wall to allow the door to open to around 90° but, preferably, a gap of 260mm which will then allow the door to open to it's full 132° capacity. And, as already said in other reviews, make sure it will go through your doorways! Ours had to be unpackaged outside as it wouldn't fit through the doorways whislt in its box!
The unit is also on 4 wheels which is great for moving it into place. But for installation and levelling, I ended up having to remove the front wheels as these were causing the unit to tilt too far to the rear. I think this is what you're supposed to do, it just doesn't mention it in the manual! It's easy to remove the front 2 wheel though.
Noise is no issue. Although it isn't in a main living area, I can't really say I've heard much from it when I've been in the utility either.
People have criticised the lack of flow of the water dispenser. I think you need to expect a slower flow as it's not mains fed so no pressure behind it other than the maximum 2 litres of water it can hold. But it's not unbearably slow though.
For the bottom drawer in the fridge, you can choose from 3 temperature settings - "vege" which sets at the same temperature as the fridge, "fresh" which sets at 2-3°C lower than the fridge and "chill" which sets that drawer to 0°C. A usual feature for varieties of different things to go in there (especially when using as a beer drawer :D).
And the 2 lighting panels at the front sides of the fridge are great too. In the past our fridges have always had lights in the top which, when you have your top shelf crammed with food, can soon become ineffective. These lights overcome that problem.
The digital control panel on the fridge front allows you to adjust the temperatures of both fridge and freezer independently. Fridge between 2°C & 8°C, freezer between -15°C & -25°C. You can lock the control panel to stop "fingers" messing with it and there are also "modes" - "Superfreeze" which will drop the temp of the freezer to -25°C for 26 hours before returning it to it's previous temperature, "Holiday" which just keeps the fridge ticking over at 15°C whilst you're away (not recommended for keeping food in) and "Artificial Intelligence" mode which adjusts the temperatures accordingly (I don't know what to but we just have ours on that anyway!). The display automatically switches off after some time but wakes up again when a door is opened.
The "downsides"? Well, as others have said, a bit more flexibilty on shelf heights and door compartment heights would be good. Only one of the door compartments can be changed to 2 positions and, if you have that at the lower one, you can't fit any tall milk bottles in the compartment below (which is the only compartment they will fit in by the way). But with all the space in the fridge, I'm sure you can find alternative ways to store things as we have. And the other "downside" for us - the black one which we bought is a fingerprint magnet! And becasuse there are no door handles, you tend to end up putting your fingers on the door to close them rather than the bottom recesses which are there.
But would I recommend this product? Absolutley YES. a great sized product at a great price."

"Excellent quality Fridge Feezer.Drawers on Freezer are very large and hold a great deal of storage.Water dispenser was one of the reasons we chose fridge and it does not disappoint,manageable and great size for children to reach.Very spacious inside.Added bonus is when doors are left open an subtle alarm will sound.
Overall really impressive Fridge Freezer and great for family.Takes a great deal of food to fill.
We also chose this for the dimensions as we had a small space for it to fit. Because we went for smaller dimensions I though there would be less space inside but this was not the case.
The Hisense American Fridge Freezer is Affordable,Aesthetically Pleasing,Functional and stylish. "
