"We bought this washer dryer to replace our hotpoint aquarius due to the barings going and the temperature control.
We are really impressed with this Hoover washer dryer. It has a quick 59 minute wash which washes the clothes really well. The dryer is really efficient and the towels come out all fluffy!

"My 35 year old Dryer gave up last month so was looking for a new one then this month my Washer gave up also. So to save space I decided to buy a Washer Dryer despite people telling me not to. I actually quite like it. The instruction booklet is not the easiest to understand and the only down side to the dryer is you have to put on a drying programme just to soften towels etc, which is all I really use it for. You can however, stop it 15/20/25 mins after starting the programme so not a huge problem but just unnecessary."

"We've run this machine for several days now clearing a varied backlog of washing, and have had an opportunity to try out a variety of programmes.
First impressions have been very good. The programme settings are clear and easy to use with a good display panel. The liquid drawer is small compared to other machines I have had and pulls out easily for cleaning. I have tried out several wash programmes and the dryer programme and find them efficient. It's great to be able to vary the temperature and also, through the intensity, the time. Even the shorter wash came out really clean. The larger drum means less creasing when drying and it is efficient on the lower temperature of iron dry. In fact the drying on low has been so good that I haven't had to use the high temperature dry yet. The door aperture is larger than usual which is great for a large or bulky load. It is slightly higher off the ground than my old one was, and I find a laundry basket fits under it easily.
I find that the machine is reasonably quiet when washing, but noisier when drying. The ding at the end is not really loud enough. When moving the machine you should take care not to dent it as the metal of the front panel seems quite thin and could dent easily. The outer panel of the door is chromed plastic I think.
All in all I am very pleased with my new washer/dryer and it is working well.
