"It has been 11 years since I last looked at tumble Dryers and I have to say my old one only had 2 functions 'high' and low' and what I can say is I have been missing a trick.
This machine has around 11 standard functions on the dial and it gives you the ability to change certain aspects of the drying programmes by telling the machine what kind of dry your wanting too with the buttons on the from, from iron dry to cupboard dry and several in-between.
I would highly recommend you read the in-depth manual that comes with it to make the most of the functions as it can be quite overwhelming when you are first stood in front of it with wet washing ready to go in like I did. In fact, I pressed a few buttons, got myself confused and freaked out any possible shrinkage and headed for the manual instead… The manual will be your best friend for a week but after that I am sure you will have found your most used settings.
This machine has a MASSIVE drum and makes light work of duvets (single and double) with its 10KG drum. I have noticed that I seem to have done less loads of drying this week than normal but think this is due to the size of the drum and being able to fit far more in.
The fluff filter and water container have an indicator on the machine but I have emptied both after each load anyway as advised by the manual so never seen or heard them in action
The water for the dryer is collected in the dryer’s port hole on the front which I thought was fabulous as it made it super easy to see how much water comes off each load and made it easy for emptying too by opening the door and lifting the clear plastic porthole out.
What I really liked about this machine was its noise, or lack thereof compared to our previous machine which we had stopped using at night when the kids were in bed as it was loud enough to hear in the bedrooms of our 1950’s semi. Even with a massive drum and a full load on-board we have been able to put it on at night and with its delay feature (24hrs) we can even set it to go on in the evening instead of straight away.
Overall, I think it’s a great machine. Its tackling with ease everything our family of 4 has thrown at it and my favourite programme is the ‘sensor drying’ programme which is super quick to use as you chuck in your clothes and it decides how long and how to dry the clothes in the most economical way which will save us some money … and sanity when you can’t remember which other setting to put it on

"A big 10kg drum which matches the 10KG washing machine I have is a match made in heaven. It had a sensor which detects the amount of moisture in your clothes and then automatically adjusts settings to match. Energy saving is money saving which is always good! The Smart Touch app is brilliant, I can monitor the dryer from my phone. You can even download new programmes which I have yet to do. The anti crease programme works brilliantly. Easy iron for my work shirts. "
