Best machine I’ve had

"The machine works brilliantly and just highlights how much I needed a new one as my previous machine had been on its way out for a while. The capacity is excellent and if you only do a small wash, it weighs it and adapts the length of wash and amount of water accordingly. The only drawback is that the holes on the back of my door don’t match with the position of the hinges on the machine. "

Amazing

"Excellent machine, really quiet on a spin compared to my old one.

Lovely large drum, which is perfect for my growing family. I can now do fewer washes.

Really easy to use and great amount of programmes.

You hear a nice beep as you move the programme dial round, and a nice audiable bleep at end of wash. You can easily touch the screen to change temp/spin up or down.

Love the way it stabilises the drum due to weight and adjusts the time according to how much wash is in.

You do get chunky mouldings to attach to machine to fix it to integral door but that doesn’t bother me as door is shut most of the time."

Hoover HBWM914D

"Although this is listed as an integral washer, it started life as a free standing model. To make it “integral” Hoover have added some weird spacers for the door hinges and a long spacer to accommodate the magnet to keep the door shut., which meant drilling more holes in the door for the hinges. The last integral washer we had was completely flat at the the front and had smaller dimensions, were as the hoover looks like a free standing washer with bulbous door etc. The Hoovet just fits into the space, with 2 millimetres clearance either side, and clatters the cabinet on 1400 spins. It washes ok but you need to be careful when choosing washing programs because you also have to choose wash temperature and spin speed. On our old washer these setting were already in the programme you chose. Does the job but I wish it hadn’t been list as an integral washer, because knowing what I know now I would have chosen something else."
