"Lovely super bright interior fridge LED light
Fridge shelves feel a bit ‘essentials’ range. Especially compared to my 8 year old Hotpoint it replaced. Which had much more sturdy shelves. Hopefully the extra quality is inside the unit? I guess I’ll find out in years to come.
I changed the door hinges to the left, took me 60 mins. A torx screwdriver is required. One reviewer wrote there is not screw holes drilled for a hinge swap. I can say one hole was not drilled in plastic door top, but there is dimple there instead to make one with self tapping action, easy, no problem at all. suposed to be that way I would think.
I don’t like the odd proportions of the freezer compartments. And the glass fridge shelves also a bit thin compared to my old hotpoint.
Does seem to sound an alarm when under temperature, thus alerting you of a problem early to save any food wastage.
All in all a smart looking simple design. Hopefully the German engineering will be superior and last 15 years or more without any problems. Delivery guys were a bit personally less (sorry, don’t mean to sound rude or ungrateful). But this is an honest review. Would buy more Bosch, and recommend AO over Curry’s anyday "
