"Decent freezer for my garage - can't complain. Like that it has an internal light, drain hole and digital display for the temp. Pretty easy to move too when it's empty as it's not overly heavy."

"Not very impressed! This freezer was delivered only a week ago and from the start I was asking myself questions about its performance. The display indicated the temperature of the freezer to be -18C when it was first plugged in, obviously impossible, so no way of knowing when it actually was -18C unlike the other freezer we have that flashes the descending temperature until it reaches -18C. So I bought a thermometer to find that the temperature inside is only -14C in amongst the food stored at the bottom and frozen ice cream transferred from another freezer actually melted when placed in the basket at the top. "

"I've owned this chest freezer for a short while but so far very pleased with it. It runs very quiet and has a handy digital display showing the current temperature setting which I left at the default setting of -18. However, it has a good range of settings and can be used as a large fridge if required. Another positive feature for me is the very good LED lamp built into the lid which makes it so much easier to see inside especially if the freezer is located in an out building.
It loses one star due to the lid mechanism causing it to suddenly spring open all the way up rather than having a friendly softer opening. So when opening care must be taken. Apart from that it seems to be doing a good job at maintaining the temperature in a quiet way.
