"This is an excellent fridge freezer and will, I'm sure, please most people who buy it. I am pleased with how it performs, how it looks and how it's built. It is typical of the many Bosch products I own and have owned over the last 55 years and I'm confident it will last and be reliable. I do have issues with its internal layout however which could be improved, but this may be just a personal thing. The inclusion of an extremely large middle drawer in the freezer I find very impractical, also the fridge salad compartment would be better as two drawers side by side, but I'm sure I'll get used to these things eventually."

"My old freezer packed up and I needed to replace it urgently.I ordered the Bosh fridge freezer on line on the Monday and it was delivered on the Wednesday .Pleased with AOand my fridge-freezer."

"Looks great. Very quiet. Loads of room. Not too sure if it would have been better with 4 freezer drawers rather than 3 as middle drawer is so big, it may take a bit of rummaging around to find smaller items. I'll just need to get organised instead! But, overall, very pleased with it."

"This is a great machine but boy, what a frustrating installation! As a recently retired chartered proffessional I consider myself reasonably savvy so given the problems I encountered I am sure many would have a similar or worse experience.
Firstly, credit to Bosch for providing pictorial instructions. Excellent but unfortunately they fell short of a good job. For example, one element in them showed a piece of wood but with no explaination made no sense. Worse was that the machine had a piece of perforated plastic over the outlet pipe for the frost free system. Logically this had to be removed but no mention of either leaving it in place or removing it was anywhere to be found anywhere in the paperwork. Having had something similar on another Bosch appliance that looked like packing material but (after speaking to several different people in support) had to be kept in place, I contacted support. This perforated plastic did indeed need to be removed but I was left wondering how many people would not even notice it and therefore install their fridge with it still in place. What was really telling was that the person I spoke to in support said they received many similar calls and that Bosch ‘needed to do better with their instructions’ and that he and his boss had given feedback to Bosch.
Additionally - the instructions showed levelling the fridge/freezer by putting a spirit level on top of the unit. All very sensible apart from the fact the door sat a little higher than the main body of the unit. I did not notice this immediately and wondered why my aparently levelled machine did not look level. In the end the only (and in my opinion, better) way was to use a level on the side and front of the carcass. Bingo, a pefectly vertical and level unit.
We like our new fridge/freezer a lot and doubtless we will forget the frustrations that went with the install but Bosch is a big, experienced company that really should do better."
