"Doesn’t dry the washing although set to cupboard dry. On switch works when it feels like it. Nowhere near as good as the hotpoint it replaced."

"So far so good with this dryer. Nice and quiet, good looking, large drum and plenty of different programmes for different loads. Easy to empty water and clean filter. Two year warranty is a plus."

"Machine seems very good. Though not in sales info (or could not find it) you can connect to drain so you do not need to empty the waste water tank. Been in use just on a week, and would give it 1

"I bought one of these dryers in March this year. My first experience of using it was that it didn't dry the clothes properly - as one or two others have commented. You can't put it back on the same setting as it won't run any longer as it thinks the clothes are dry. Now, I always put everything on a timed setting as that's the only way to get stuff properly dry.
The worst thing, though, is that is crumples large items! You have to completely fasten duvet covers to stop them from swallowing everything else. It rolls sheets and pillow slips into a big ball which creases everything to hell! For me, the whole point of having a tumble dryer is so that I don't have to iron sheets!
I was so looking forward to having a separate tumble dryer whith a nice big drum, as I've always had a combined washer dryer in the past due to lack of space. My nice big drum that wasn't supposed to crease things is worse than the combined washer dryer! And just in case you wonder, I don't put more than one sheet and two or three pillow slips in a load."
