"We have been using the product for a couple of weeks now and have been trying out the different settings to see what works well and what - not so well.
For example we have been trying to use the ECO mode to see if we can save water & energy. But because it uses less water and washes at a lower temperature, the dishes came out with residues that we had to clean off by hand.
Other than that - only positives and no issue at all so far.
So would definetly recommend this product."

"It's ok. Very quiet. Push buttons on panel a little temperamental as you sometimes need to push quite hard, button panel a little flimsy (flexes when pushing buttons) would prefer knobs or proper buttons.
Dishes flop about in many of the rack wires, still to find the best positions for everything after using it every day for 2 weeks. Washes well on the standard wash, no need for intensive wash as yet even with casserole dish. Short wash is 30 mins and washes glasses and plates ok provided the dishwasher isn't really loaded up.
Plastics often still wet after drying cycle but our last dishwasher was the same so used to it
Setting the water hardness and rinse aid levels is a bit of a faff as it's done electronically by pushing a series of buttons but you only do it once unless you get it wrong!.
On the whole for the money not a bad machine but it could do with some improvement on design and build quality.
The best bit, it's really quiet."

"Used 3 times and wouldn’t switch off or stop bleeping, I’ve had to ring hotpoint. Now expecting an engineer next week! First dishwasher & not happy so far with lack of response and now not working.
To add to insult... After purchasing this product in December, I tried numerous times online to collect the free fairy dishwasher tablets. The site wouldn’t accept my email address! I phoned Hotpoint on 3 occasions and was told finally to email customer services freefairy. I emailed on the 22nd of December and again on the 3rd of January... no response as of yet! "

"Looks smart and sturdy. Washes well. Only issue I had was how to programme for the water hardness, still not sure if it's correct but as we have very hard water, time will tell. Have worked out how to set to wash, which needs to be done each time you use dishwasher."
