"I bought this as a replacement for my ancient hob and oven.
Even though most fitted hobs and ovens have a standard external diameter, the hole in my worktop for the hob was slightly smaller than the internal part of the new hob, so I had to make it bigger. Also the oven comes with a fitted plug, rather than being hard wired and the hob has its own wiring connector that needs to be hard wired into a cooker connector block or into the hob isolation switch.
Both the cooker and oven are amazing. The oven heats up very quickly and with the induction hob, boiling a small pan of water takes seconds.
Both come with plenty of different setting but you don’t have to use them and can get away with using a couple of them for everyday use.
Because if the induction hob, not all pans will work on it, but you can test your old pans with a magnet. If the magnet stick to the bottom of the pan, it will work.
The reliability of the product has yet to be seen, but if you register the appliances with hotpoint, there is a 10 year parts warranty.
In short, looks good, cooks great and good price. "

"Bought this package for our new kitchen, first go with induction hob and so far apart from having to replace our pans it’s been fairly good, takes a wee while to get use to but so far so good, the oven was a tad disas it was missing the wire racks but hotpoint said they would deliver new once’s ASAP (still waiting) the oven is a rather small and don’t bother trying to cook with the baking tray as it seems to block any heat getting to the food ? Even though it’s a fan oven ! Weird but that’s what we have discovered so far, may have to change the oven for something better, so hope this has helped anyone make a choice, best wishes "

"Seems to be good value to me. Oven looks smart apart from cheap plastic knobs, has a good range of cooking functions including steam cleaning mode and heats up quickly. Has useful timer functions including a timed start and then will also stop itself after a set cooking time too which I wasn’t expecting on a budget oven.
Induction hob looks like any other, clean simple touch interface, heats up very quick - can’t complain. Not noisey.
Hob comes with a bare wires for its connection and the oven has a standard plug."
