"This dishwasher was bought to replace our trusty Bosch from 10 years ago. We have always trusted Bosch appliances and, despite the semi-premium price, we have had great value for money and results.
This model was the closest match to our old one, but you can see that Bosch have been busy over the last 10 years.
From the original installation, I could see the changes. The door is fixed on much more securely than its predecessor and I don't see it coming loose after 7-8 years this time. The new "touch to open" feature will help this too as there is no need to pull on the handle. Some reviewers haven't liked this feature, but I believe you can disable it. For us, it stays.
Also not to everyone's liking, we loved the cutlery drawer and the reduced height in the middle shelf is a fair sacrifice to enable us to put the cutlery at the top instead of a basket at the bottom. We can still fit wine glasses in by lowering the middle shelf a bit. Another very useful feature.
The red dot on the floor has been upgraded to a full display of what the machine is doing and how long it has left. It is clear to see, very useful and very cool. It also tells you how long until the cycle starts if you set the timer.
The timer itself is a lot more precise than before. You can set it to start whenever you like, to the nearest minute, rather than to the nearest hour as was the case. This is a little unnecessary and takes a bit longer to set as you have to wait for it to cycle through the minutes to set an 8 hour delay. Not an issue, but to the nearest 15 minutes would have been enough really.
One thing that appears to be a step back is the reduced customisation with the stands/spikes inside. This is actually a good thing for us as the ones that are no longer movable are the ones we never moved anyway. Some of them got a bit loose on our old machine.
The control panel and programs have had a bit of a revamp too. There is a new "auto" setting that adjusts the cycle according to what it senses inside. Love that. There is a new "eco" mode too, but it does take over 3 hours! The "extra dry" and "machine care" features are welcome new additions too.
As for the cleaning, it lives up to expectations. It's hard to say if it is a better machine or if the difference is from comparing to one that has been used twice a day for 10 years, but the dishes have been coming out so much cleaner than the last one. My expectations were high, but it is a Bosch!
Overall we couldn't be happier with this dishwasher. It is everything we wanted and more. "

"Bosch series 6 washer is quite, very smart and easy to use + lots of room in it. Loved the timer light projector below. Thought it was a bit gimmicky but actually its very useful. A real upgrade on my old dishwasher. It took longer to install than I thought, so should have taken the half price installation offer!
I had some issues with the ordering due to post code address selection picking the incorrect address, which caused a 2 day delay"

"I decided to spend little bit more money and buy something better. It was worth it. The display on the floor with time remaining and what process is now on it's great. Additionally opening by pressing the doors is so much better than pulling the handle. You can adjust the top rack if you have some really tall dishes. Overall really happy with the purchase."
