"I am very pleased with my purchase. The Bosch Hob is a very sturdy, well made, durable device. I am impressed with the design, I went with the black colour so it blends into the worktop. I've noticed how much quicker it heats up pans of cold water compared to the old glass hob which we had to replace due to a deep crack forming. But this device looks like it should last a lifetime in comparison."

"This hob works very well and the temperature is easy to control. The trouble is I have only had it for a week and it's already looking bad. The solid hot plates are very difficult to clean as you can only use warm soapy water on them and this just doesn't remove the black marks that you're left with if you accidentally let some water spill over your pan. Overall I'm really disappointed and wish I'd gone for a ceramic hob again."

"I don't just like my new hob, I love it.
This is a very well designed solid appliance. The control knobs are smooth to turn, the 4 fast hotplates heat up very quickly and cooking is very even.
And it looks amazing.

"I wanted a solid plate hob because I'm a messy cook and it's not unusual for pots to boil over and this type of hob had a good deep ridge all around it which stops spilt liquids from reaching the worktops. When I'm cleaning it the ridge also keeps cleaning fluids on the hob itself. I like this particular hob because it's well laid out and the power from the rings are strong. Although not a sleek, modern-looking hob, it does look good and I'm delighted with it. Bosch is a good brand and I'm happy to buy any of their products."
