"I’m a gadget geek and even I thought this would be a gimmick.
The apps are brilliant, love the picture slideshows where you can upload from your phone or put in a USB stick loaded with pics within folders.
I now help with the shopping because there’s a Tesco’s app. Calendar function is brilliant linked to Outlook. Bixby works fine (not a patch on Alexa) but great nonetheless. Three cameras take a picture every time you close the door and viewable from the Samsung Family hun app. Which my better half uses when she is out shopping.
The kids love drawing memos and leaving voice messages. Browsing the internet is fun. Smart thing integration if you want it.
The app allows you to do most of the above as well as view what was done from the fridge.
As for the primary function as a fridge freezer, it’s massive. Zone control, plumbed water, crushed ice and it’s top of the range.
Everyone that comes around thinks it’s brilliant.

"This fridge is great as a fridge however the USP of this fridge is the touchscreen. This look great and on this modern world off apps one would expect that you can download apps such as SONOS. This would be wrong. You can only use the 31 apps already programmed on it. Of which I recognise only 3!!
This is a huge negative for what catapult this fudge into the next generation by having all your home and family apps on it.
When buying this fridge be very aware of this. You will not be able to get the apps that you use like SONOS, Waitrose, recipe apps etc.
Samsung - Software upgrade needed to allow this!"

"I love this appliance apart from being an attractive fridge/freezer it holds a lot and the doors are sturdy. Ice and water facilities work well and the product is quite until you leave the door open. The electronic device on the door is useful and the kids love it as they can watch TV, play games, music and make recordings. What a well thought of fridge by Samsung my friends love it no one cannot believe a fridge can do these things and more.
