"Good, loud, all-round system. Audio return channel works quite well with my Sony Bravia TV from its other source inputs, although occasionally I have to reselect home theatre system from my TV's audio sync menu. 2.1 sound settings can be changed to use all 6 speakers (incl. sub) if you would like rather than just the front and sub. Standard, thin and clear speaker wire is used for the centre, front, and surround speakers, making extending their distance form the unit very easy if the supplied cable isn't long enough for your room, I just bought a 25m real of speaker cable for £7.99 to extend my speakers and it worked fine. The only annoyance, although it's the same with most units, is that the subwoofer wire is permanently attached to the sub and has a special connector on the other end to connect it to the amp, making extension of that speaker much more of an effort if you need to, as it only comes with a 3m cable. All speakers (excl. sub) have standard screw catches/cut-outs on the back, so each can be hung from a single screw (2 for the center speaker) if you'd rather wall mount the speakers than use the included stands for the front 2 speakers and/or don't want to buy stands for the rear speakers. Conversely, you can have the speakers free standing on a solid surface, however whilst the front speakers are fairly stable without their stands, I wouldn't place them somewhere they would be likely to be knocked, and the rear speakers would have to be placed upside down if you don't want them facing upwards due to their shape. I would still fully implore anyone to buy this system though, I am extremely happy with it, it sounds brilliant at all volumes, has great bass, and has a really immersive, room filling surround sound experience. "

"No complaint about AO.
Very disappointed with LG. We just purchased an LG webOS TV, which had no direct audio output, so I couldn't connect it to my existing sound system.
Purchased the LG LHB645N 5.1 expecting this to have a compatible optic/hdmi connection, after all it is LG to LG. It won't work. We can only connect the two devices via Bluetooth. LG tell us that this is the only way we can connect the audio. What!! LG have not been helpful. What is more the Bluetooth keeps cutting out and we need to manually reset it."
