"My home cinema system before this one was slightly cheaper but much the same as this. Very disappointed, complete waste of money.
I am not interested in the Bluetooth functions, 3D or anything else except for quality of sound. This has the worst sound of any home cinema system I have ever heard. My TV has better depth and quality of sound and I'm not joking (my TV is old BTW).
First of all I would expect connections on the speaker wires but this doesn't have that instead you have exposed wire ends which you attach to terminal points in speaker's and control box. We are not living in the 90s anymore so didn't expect that and it wasn't in any reviews that I have read. It just feels cheap, which it wasn't, £300+!
The reason why I am giving it a scathing review is because that is what is deserved of this product. The sound settings are atrocious. Majority of the settings are for 2.1ch! If I had wanted 2.1ch only I would have bought a 2.1ch system, this is 5.1ch. The other sound settings that are available for 5.1ch are "cinema", football, bass blast and power front. ALL of these have no noticeable difference, seriously. The sound from this system is flat, dull and has no depth. Bass is non existent in ALL sound settings. The last sounds setting which is available is user equaliser (which when I first saw it I thought great I can set/adjust the sound how I like it). IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN 2.1ch and makes ZERO difference to sound.
Very disappointed with this, kindly purchase ANY other system besides this one. This was my first ever LG system and it will be the last! I did do a lot of research before buying and 90% of reviews were good but now I am beginning to think that they were not real reviews. I also found a video review, an unboxing one, and the guy did a very good video. He was swapping his soundbar for this. To him it made a huge difference and I appreciate that this person took the time to put a video up about it. But I think it might have been his first proper system. I on the other hand have had a few. I know what good surround sound is. This product does give surround sound but lacks ANY depth, distinction and bass.
Spend less or more money than what this costs and get yourself a different home cinema system. This is definitely not worth it. This is my review, it's honest and real."

"Very well packaged, easy to set up and having the same brand TV is all operational from the same remote.
Very impressed with the ammount of functions and settings and is awesome for gaming.
For myself I did not use the floor stands for the front speakers as I did not have the floor space however these speakers are fully detachable from the stands and can be wall mounted.
Overall a great initial experience with the product. A+"
