"The hob is exactly as expected. A nice glass finish excellent control of heating. This was a replacement as the other one broke, don't store anything hard heavy or glass above it. We had a spice rack just to one side, but when a glass spice jar fell and caught the edge, the old hob cracked. Please don't think these are weak, this was the third or fourth one that had fell onto it, but if you get a corner of the jar hit the edge of the hob it will crack. We have fixed the issue now there are only soft things stored above the hob on both sides. "
