"This replaced an AEG ceramic hob, vintage circa 2002, which started playing up. In replacing, we were looking for a low profile, minimalist black hob, with centred controls. This one met the bill. Installation was pretty straightforward, although I preferred the AEG 'tunnel' terminals for wiring, rather than the Neff clamp-types. There's no need for sealant as the unit has its own seal, but it is delicate and I managed to slightly tear it while lowering the hob into position. Now it's in, we're really happy with it - especially the way it cooks thoroughly, not superficially, like the AEG. Overall, one to go for. "

"Great product, does mark easily so we are going to get some Hob Brite to keep the stains and marks off.
Boils water from cold very quickly and is easy to use."
