"If you are buying this dishwasher to fit into a 12 year old Wickes kitchen, like me, and the door that you intend to fit to the front of the dishwasher is taller than 725mm, like mine (732mm), and then fit the door front as per the instructions, like me, then the dishwasher door WILL NOT open fully because it hits the bottom of the dishwasher.
The door must be less than 725mm tall to fit properly, I missed that part in the instructions.
My solution was to fit the door front 9mm higher than specified and then lower the dishwashers feet by 9mm. This then gives clearance to the bottom of the door and the door still lines up with the other cupboards but does leave a small gap between the dishwasher and the worktop.
Other than this issue installation was straight forward."

"Bought the SMV46MX00G in October 2017 to replace another Bosch I had for many years, and very glad I did.
Plumbing and plugging in were a doddle.
Fitting the front panel (this is an integrated appliance) was a bit more tricky than I remember on my last unit, but managed this in about an hour.
On installing there appeared to be some missing brackets to secure the unit to the underside of the countertop and a steam guard?
Luckily I had the ones from the last unit and these fitted perfectly so used them instead.
Unit is VERY quiet, really like the red light that shines on the floor when running - lets me know to be careful opening the door so I don't get covered in hot water or steam.
I like the time remaining display indication.
Buttons are easy to press and setting the program is easy.
LOVE the 60 minute high temperature fast wash - this is my most used setting.
There is a faster wash that takes about 40 minutes too.
Use the 2h30m setting for heavier larger loads like Sunday dinner dishes.
Configuration of drawers inside the unit is MUCH better than the last Bosch unit.
The pull out drawer at the top for all the cuttlery is sooo much better than using a basket.
You get far more room because of that for plates and pots etc. where a basket takes up space.
Adjustable middle shelf height is great, I used that to give me a bit more room for taller glasses, and it didn't prevent me from putting in large baking trays and large pots and roasting tins etc.
One negative is that the space on the middle shelf I would normally put cups seems a little narrower than the last unit so cups don't sit comfortably on the shelf, but they wash perfectly well.
Cleaning performance is great, no problems at all.
I also used extra rinse aid liquid but to be honest this isn't really needed and this machine seemed to get through a bottle of it quite quickly so I stopped using it and have found no issues with the wash tablets I use.
This unit has an extra high temp wash for disinfecting things like baby bottles and more soiled dishes etc.
And it has a machine cleaning option.
Like the idea of the optical sensor which monitors how dirty the water is getting so it knows when the dishes are clean / cuts down on water usage. I am on a water meter and so using less water saves money.
It also has a half load option too which I use a lot.
Door is easier to open / lighter to lift than the last model I had.
Activating the machine is easy by pressing three buttons: On, Auto, Start. Shut the door. Done.

"Quiet, efficient and actually cleans my dishes (unlike my old dishwasher). Bit unusual to have a draw for the cutlery rather than a basket. That would be annoying if my cutlery kitchen draw was a distance from my dishwasher but luckily it's right next to it."
