"I don't use a microwave very much and this does everything I need it to. It sits very snugly in the corner of the worktop and takes up much less room than a conventional, flat backed microwave. No problems with it sliding around (even though it's on a granite worktop), seems to heat evenly and even has an auto defrost function. For the price I think it's outstanding value. Very pleased. "

"I love this. For my kitchen a corner unit was essential to me and I can adjust to the controls etc it’s just fine. The only thing that really annoys me big time is the machine is light and so when I go to open the door it drags the whole unit forward instead of opening the door. It is either use two hands to open it which can be inconvenient or do a twist with one thumb and one finger. Once you get used to it it is second nature but I would rather I didn’t have to. If there were other corner units available that didn’t do this I would probably choose the other.
Could do with being a little taller inside as well. "

"Starting with looks, the microwave is smart with an unusual round shape - the idea being it fits into a corner and saves space. It does fit into the corner and looks great, however it feels bulky and with any round item, there’s wasted unusable space created either side.
In terms of functionality it’s pretty basic. The dial isn’t the easiest to read and it’s a shame Hotpoint didn’t put a digital control / display. It heats food well though and compliments our other black appliances."

"Style of the microwave is great, fits perfectly into the corner of my worktop. Looks very stylish. Basic microwave features which is perfect for want I use it for, defrosting, pre baking potatoes, heating rice etc.. Only thing I would like to see on it is a clock. Would not be suitable for a large family but perfect for a single person or couple."

"I have to say the design of this is amazing, the curved aspect allows it to sit within the corner of the kitchen and doe not take up to much work space like a conventional microwave does..
My gripes, well it does make one hell of a rattle some times, I think this is down to build quality, or something loose...
Secondly the microwave is missing a digital display and options would allow me to accurately find 10 seconds... on this microwave your restricted to dials"

"Love the look of this machine and it fits into a corner very well indeed, leaving useful work space in front of the appliance.
It is early days using it and it has been used purely to heat up cold cups of tea and warm milk.
Pros include a full size turntable and internal height enough for tall mugs to fit comfortably.
Cons...... hate the way you have to use both hands to open the door - one to pull on the door, the second to steady the machine to stop it from sliding on the work surface. Also, if you use the 30 second setting the bell which advises that the function has completed doesn’t ring.
I needed a microwave which performed the basics but most importantly fitted into a limited space. This does both. Would suggest a design tweak so the appliance stands still when being opened!"
