"Our tumble dryer packed up on Christmas Eve. I had a pile of washing from my husband who works away and with 4 terriers in this weather I regularly have dog towels and mats and bedding to wash. We ordered the Smeg and it arrived with fantastic communication as normal from AO in allotted time slot. I LOVE IT. It has a huge drum with a great internal light. It’s easy pleased to use and drys as expected. The timer is interesting as it shows quite a long time at the beginning and then alters as the sensors tell it how the washing is drying. It easy to empty the water tank and fluff catcher although these are in the same place as in my previous Beko and it seems very robust. Time will tell as we went for a better model this time I hope it will last longer. It definitely no longer heats the kitchen but apparently redirects that hot air into drying the clothes so I’m sure it is more economical. Overall I’m really pleased with it and just hope it’s as well built as their fridges. "

"Easy to use and understand. This thing drys items better than my old condensing unit. Cannot comment on reliability at this time as I have only had it for a few weeks, but so far im impressed."

"This is the first time I’ve had a heat pump dryer. This technology is meant to use less energy. Will wait for the next energy bill!
This Smeg works very well. Drum internally lit so helps when loading dryer in the dark. Clothes are perfectly dried. I’m very happy with the product.
My only reservation would be the noise level when using. It is quite loud. My dryer is in a utility room so thankfully I don’t have to listen to it. But if it were in my kitchen I may only use it when no one at home. It is pretty loud. "

"I’m in laundry heaven. Ok, well I haven’t had a dryer before so maybe that’s part of it, although my husband thoroughly researched before. This dryer is awesome - drys clothes well, all it needs is electricity. Have stacked it on our washing machine. couldn't be happier! "
