"Very well built product with loads of features. The large drum easily allows a large amount of washing to be dried (8kg according to Smeg - easily enough for us to transfer straight from the washer).
With one main dial it's easy to select between a number of preset programmes. Using the cupboard dry setting has ensured even jeans come out dry. Each programme can be adjusted with added time for bulky objects or less for a smaller amount of washing. A timer is available to delay the programme which easily adjusts in 30 min increments.
The lint catcher is large and easy to clean. An extra filter is present on the water outflow (you get a spare filter in the box too).
We have never filled the reservoir after one drying load but empty it ever time. The dryer should stop if it gets full. The dryer comes with a pipe to allow direct drainage meaning you wouldn't need to empty the reservoir but we haven't tried this although it looks very straight forward. "

"This appliance has a large porthole which makes it easier to load and unload the washing. I love how it looks it has a really modern look with an lcd display that displays the time for each cycle. It has a really good range of cycles and I found it really easy to set for the appropriate cycle for the clothes I am drying. It’s really quiet and it only needs the water bottle emptied on average every 3 cycles.
I love the Heat pump technology as it mean I save energy whilst using the dryer, my old dryer wasn't very energy efficient. I can already feel a difference with the clothing as the heat pump technology really throughly dries all the clothes. The sensor drying measures the moisture in the clothes to make sure the machine stop when everything is dry, making the machine more efficient - which I think is amazing and very clever!
This is the best all round dryer I have had and would definitely recommend this appliance."
