"I spent over 3 months "researching" just about all American Fridge Freezers on the market to replace my ancient Samsung model. It ticked all the boxes and more, especially with the door-in-door feature. My older Samsung model had a more basic feature -a small hatch "milk door". The only "annoyance" which seems to apply to all makes and models, is that the fridge is always larger than the freezer capacity. I did not need a larger fridge capacity, but did need a larger freezer. I was also concerned it would be a struggle to get in through the front door with just millimetres to spare. That was easily resolved by the AO delivery/installers. They simply, quickly removed the Fridge/freezer doors! And with the model's wheels, it is easy to slide about with no damage to the flooring. The wider, taller ice/water dispenser compartment has room for a 1 litre jug (my previous Samsung model only had space for a small mug/glass) which is another bonus.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have a small "under-shelf utility/snack/cheese drawer" in the fridge, like the other LG door-in-door models. BUT I have found some universal ones which attach under any shelf - problem solved. I was also keen to buy a plumbed in model, hence removing the need to have fridge space taken up with the water tank, and needing refilling by hand (Applies to the other LG door-indoor models). It is super-quiet, and the control panel (on the freezer door) is well laid out and easy to use. All in all, this fridge-freezer exceeds all my expectations!"

"WoW, what can I say about this LG American Fridge Freezer other than it’s everything and more than we could of hoped for.
It fits perfectly in the space previously occupied by a Beko American unit which had finally given up the ghost, but seems to swallow up far more goodies both in the freezer and fridge sections. The Door-In-Door layout is much appreciated for storing regularly used items and prevents the need to open the main fridge door thus saving unnecessary cooling loss and hence saving on electricity.
The ice and water dispenser work flawlessly and the induction condenser motor which is guaranteed for 10 years is so quiet that at first we wondered whether the unit was even on.
All in all, we are delighted with the look and function of this Fridge / Freezer and based on our experience so far would recommend it most highly. "
