"Almost perfect freezer, if a little on the dear side!
I really love this freezer - it is replacing an old Proline that I have had for 8 or 9 years that requires manual defrosting. The capacity on the old freezer was less than we needed, so we upgraded to this lovely Samsung. Pros - frost-free although you do have to keep excess moisture wiped away for best result. Lots of capacity in drawers and shelves and easy to find items. Small shelves on door which hold smaller items like frozen herbs or ice cream bars. It's noisy for the first day or so but afterwards we don't hear it.
Cons - the icemaker bit is a bit fiddly. It makes ice cubes OK as long as you are strict about not filling past the max line on the ice cube tray. The ice can tend to stick in the bottom container. Happily it easy to get out to fix. Doesn't compare to a proper ice maker however.
There was a very small dent on the front but that may have happened during transport - not sure. It's barely noticeable so I wasn't concerned and there was no other damage of any kind.
Overall quite a lovely freezer with an attractive finish that I would certainly recommend based on use so far.
