"I purchased this fridge freezer from Currys in July 2017 and it was installed in August after delivery. It was lovely to look at and had everything we wanted. A very clever design with ample fridge space and enough freezer space for us. However in April this year the milk went off quickly and we found out after turning it off and on the fridge was reading 14 degrees C. It then went to 19 C.It would not cool down whatever I did. Called Samsung who sent an engineer in and he said it was a system problem. Then another engineer came in and said all the coolant had gone and it was irreparable and would have to be replaced. Went back to Currys who said that model is discontinued and we should choose something else!!!
They finally collected the faulty fridge today and we have had to buy a small one to keep us going till we choose another one. This whole process has taken ages and we are really fed up. Our first large fridge was also a Samsung and it was flaky to say the least which is why we went for this one as we thought all the problems would have been designed out by now. So we thought.
Now we are looking at other makes.
Samsung you have great ideas and thoughtful products but it appears that your build quality and reliability is very poor in my opinion."

"brought samsung before with no problems This model is a nightmare on the second one The fridge doors drop down when you put items in the doors are made out off chocolate and dent very easily be warned samsung do not make them like they used too I would not buy again"

"we bought this 3 months ago and have been very pleased with it so far.
unfortunately the ice maker stopped working.
the ice was still being produced but the mechanism that pushes it through stopped turning.
on inspection I found 3 peices of metal inside the compartment for the ice box.
this appears to be some sort of clip/washer that grips the nut to turn the dispenser.
it looks like an easy repair and if I new where I could get a replacement I would fix it myself."

"My last 3 American fridge freezers have been from Samsung. I love that they have 5yr warranty. My new 4door model is brilliant with the cool select zone, and large fridge compartment. I've not had it a week yet but really pleased."

"This fridge is awesome !
It is the same size as our old fridge but because this one has side vents we had to take down a partition wall, we would've still got this one even if we noticed the vents first !
I am a permanent wheelchair user and we liked that we can keep the bottom right door as a fridge so I. can reach easily and my wife can put large items in the top with both doors open.
Be careful with half shelf as it is easy to knock things over it, so open both doors every time rather than just opening one door and just pushing something in.
The ice maker is slightly temperamental in that no or very little ice comes out but if you open the left hand fridge door you can push the ice box back in place a centimetre or so and it works fine again.
It's an expensive item and you have to get used to it but we love it.
