"Ordered as a replacement for a Hoover WD, spin is quiet which is a positive, dryer takes HOURS even when less than half a load. No option to choose spin speed or wash temp on quick wash which means clothes are still quite wet and the separate spin cycle takes a while. Overall it's OK and at the price we paid fairly reasonable "

"No complaints so far as a washing machine but drying takes a long time. My old washing machine could SPIN the clothes until they were almost bone dry. This one has a spin but the clothes come out damp still. And the dryer is noisy too. Overall OK but a letdown from what I was using before."

"It's a very good washer, but my only gripe is the loading limitations for the dryer settings and guaging that with the dirty laundry, not wanting to waste washing machine space. If you've not much to wash with each load it would EASILY earn it's fifth star"

"I had my last hotpoint for 11 years until it needed to be replaced not because it was broken just because it was looking old and my son needed a washing machine and didn't want to spend out right now for a new machine, hotpoint are the best you can buy and I'm sure this machine will last 10years plus."
