"Nice item though washing time goes in for hours. The instructions don’t really explain how to use it very well and it took me a while to figure it all out.
The look of the machine is very nice and matches the kitchen beautifully. "

"It may sound strange, but because the door has smoked glass it is very difficult to see the washing inside. Several times my husband has done some washing, but after it has finished you do not notice there is anything in there (which often has meant it then doesn't get hung out to dry). Also, the first time I did a white wash I panicked that something dark had gone in by mistake & turned all my whites dark grey. It was however the fact that the door is dark & makes your washing look weird colours.
I also think the washing cycles are excessively long. If you set it for a white wash & then to dry after, it would take 8 hours! It might be A rated, but that is just a horrendous amount of electricity to use for one wash.

"Easy to use washer dryer. Installation was easy. Machine came with clear instructions.
Washing capacity is good (as expected) and washing cycles does a much better job of removing stains etc. compared to the old one it replaced.
It is reasonably quiet and Hotpoint seem to have spent a bit of time making sure the spin in particular is not noisy.
Drying is okay but the drying cycles do take a very long time. Shortening the cycles (there's plenty of control on the washing and drying cycles) might save a bit of energy but doesn't get clothes dry.
Overall, very good value for money."

"The only thing that disappointed me was only being able to dry one or two items at a time. So if you do a 9kg load yo have to take two thirds out to dry it.
Best feature is the fast wash n dry in 45 minutes. Great for midweek fast turnaround work clothes.
The cycles timings are longer than other normal washers.
But if you do your washing at night you’ll wake up to clean dry, cupboard ready laundry. It’s almost silent!"
