Cooks a mean jacket potato

"The Beko MOF20110X 20 Litre Microwave looks stylish and elegant with a modern display. It has no recesses dials or button on the front display and is very clean looking. The brushed silver and mirrored door makes it fit well into a modern kitchen.

The front display has a digital clock which also includes a timer function. One of the notable features is the ability to activate the child lock function which inhibits the door from being opened when not in use. That said once activated it does not display the clock function it would be nice if was able to have a lock symbol and still display the time.

The microwave features pre-programmed cooking functions that allow you to select a cooking mode based on a food type and weight and the microwave will then cook the food for the required time. This is quite a simple procedure to follow, although I needed to follow the manual the first couple of times. In a test to prove how well the pre-programmed feature worked I firstly tried cooking a potato, using the suggested setting it cooked a jacket potato to perfection.

There is also the one button quick function which allows you to cook at full power at a click of a button this is good for simple reheating and quick cooking tasks.

This unit also features multi step cooking allowing you to set a defrost mode followed up by the cooking phase without the need to reprogram once set.

The Beko MOF20110X is a 800 watt model and proved efficient in cooking a wide range of dishes. It makes a great accompaniment to any kitchen coupled with the child lock it’s a great machine.
