"My 15 year old AEG washer suffered its first breakdown. Instead of repair I opted for a new kombi washer dryer as my kitchen is compact. The unit arrived promptly as promised by ao. I unpacked the unit, removed the three security bolts securing the drum in transport, hooked up the cold water connection, drain hose then plugged it in the olelectrical outlet.
Instructions for use are easy to understand. It’s a simple setting of type laundry you’re doing, you can change the default water temp if desired and you have the choice of wash only, wash and dry or dry only with the pressing of a button.
The machine is VERY quiet. At times I wasn’t sure if it was still on until I saw clothes moving. It does take considerably longer to do a load of laundry. Roughly 6 hours start to finish and there’s a delay timer if you want to do the load overnight or during Economy Seven. I looked at my meter during the wash and dry cycles and saw no difference to how it normally is so this is a very energy efficient unit. My clothes came out very clean and not nearly as wrinkled as older kombi units.

"The washer dryer we bought fitted the space available from an old machine that had died, with unfortunate timing during the lockdown. AO delivered promptly and tracking of the timing of the delivery was excellent. Delivered right up to and just inside the kitchen door and we understand the current inability to enter and install. Was easy to unpack and install as all the connections with the old machine were the same. So far the machine has been an enormous improvement over the old one. Some programmes a bit long, but it is quiet and can be left to churn away on its own. "

"I’ve only done a couple of washes, but once I’d levelled it correctly is was quiet enough behind a closed door. Delay start is convenient for the dryer to use cheaper nighttime energy tariff! "
