"We are used to a separate dryer, so not being able to check if a load is dry part way through is a bit annoying. Might just need some getting used too, but would prefer a manual timing function.
On the washing front, can’t fault it. Quiet too."

"Great washer in terms of options for washing. However, my main issue is it locks and you can't check the clothes to see how dry they are. This is particularly frustrating as I want to be able to control how different materials day. It is supposed to sense when clothes are dry but I haven't found this is the case all the time. For example, if you put in a full load to dry it takes over 3.5 hours but if you put one item which is slightly damp in on its own it still wants to take 3.5 hours = damaged materials from over-drying. "

"I bought this washer dryer because it's the only one that had consistently good reviews on different websites. I had a Candy and an Indesit one before and decided to spend a bit more money this time as my previous ones broke down a few times despite only doing washing for a 1 person household.
I have only had this one for 3 weeks so I cannot comment on longevity. I also haven't used the drying functions yet as I don't use the dryer in the summer.
But so far I am pleased with the washing results. There are plenty of different functions/ settings but a lot of the washing cycles are pretty long. I mostly use the 'Mix' one where I wash different materials in one go in 1h13min. It has a wash and dry in 1 hour function if you need to get something done in a rush.
It is very quiet when washing but the spinning and draining is louder than my previous machines, I have an open plan kitchen & lounge and I cannot hear the TV well when it is spinning; and that is on the lowest spin! I mostly use the delay setting and it washes whilst I'm at work.
It has very good loading capacity, all other makes of similar price have lower capacity.
The door is rather large and doesn't feel too robust, I take care not to slam it too hard or to accidentally lean on it, am not sure if the hinges can take it.
It is easy to connect I wish I had saved myself the money and had done it myself!"

"The Belling FWD8614 washer dryer is a fantastic addition to my household. I always dread getting new appliances as it can take forever to learn how to use them and to be honest I'm not great with technology. I have found this product incredibly easy to use. It has a great deal of useful functions including "Less Iron" which reduces the wrinkles in the clothes and my particular favourite "Plus Wash" which can be used to add items to the wash load once the cycle has started.
So far I have mainly used the cotton wash and the 45 cycle which, to be fair, for a quick wash gives brilliant results
The touch screen is pretty self explanatory and enables you to alter the temperature and speed etc.
Once the cycle is on I have found it to be fairly quiet and once finished the clothes come out really clean and smell lovely.
So far I have yet to find a negative (which is rare for me!) and i genuinely could not be more impressed.
