"I am really happy with the hob and is easy to install. The touch functions are easy to use and the appliance looks good and is easy to keep clean. When cooking it heats the pans quicker than gas."

This hob looks good and heats up quickly. However it makes a strange buzzing sound if two rings are on at a high heat at the same time. I find the controls a bit awkward as the etching is faint so hard to see. You also have to tap your way (while it bleeps at you) to the heat setting you want. No quick way to turn one ring off, again have to tap your way down to zero to do that.
Still haven't figured out how the lock feature works, it doesn't seem to do anything.
If it hadn't been for Covid I would have shopped around in showrooms to find one I liked. As it is I just went on price and the good reviews this had."

"This is second induction hob I've had. It's nice, is an indication hob, etc. That gets it 4 stars.
However it's"sensibly powerful", not "insanely powerful" like the hob I had 5 years ago. That makes me a little sad, but it's fine, it's ok to just have sensible.
I also recently tried the slider type control at my neighbors. I should have done so before buying this, as aeg's address are sooooo much better, I really should have bought that instead.
Oh well, hindsight is 20/20, this is still better than gas."
