"This hob is a great option if your oven is using “the big red switch” and you therefore don’t have enough power for a conventional induction. It is silent and heats up very quickly - it’s a big change from gas. However, what stops it from getting 5 stars from me is that several pages into the instructions and only listed as “optional” is a setting to restrict the wattage based on the amp rating of your installation plug. This should be one of the first things they tell you, not the last.
If you cook with all 4 rings (I never do), the power management may not be for you.
AO customer service absolutely brilliant, from call centre to installers. They all really know their products.
Also, ask the installers for the serial number (to register it with) BEFORE the install and the box is taken away!"
