"LH side pan grid would not fit sit flush into the gas hob, the griddle 'wobbled' when a pan was placed onto it. I spoke to ao.com who were very helpful, the rubber feet for the base of the pan griddle were missing, hotpoint agreed to send out a replacement set of griddles with feet, however when they arrived the initial problem still persisted. "We've had the same identical hob for 10 years in our previous house and it had performed excellently.
We moved into a new house a few months ago and the tired looking whirlpool hob was not very good so without hesitation we bought another Hotpoint.
A word of warning though check all the parts are in the packaging, when our gas fitter came to fit it the sealing strip for sealing between the hob & worktop surface mentioned in the enclosed instructions was not in the packaging even though the instructions tell you it is included."

"The gas hob arrived on time and well packaged but had rubbers missing from the pan support underside. AO has organised for them to be delivered to me direct from Hotpoint, still waiting today is 7 days but they did say it could take up to 10 days.
The item is also poorly made compared to a previous hotpoint gas hob. My last one lasted 14 years, I don’t think this will last anywhere near that time."

"The hob is of good quality for the price .
Gas control knobs are very good and easy to control the flame .
Only slight complaint is the grids have a slight rocking motion when fitted .
This was remedied by purchasing additional rudder hob buffers and fitting them ."
