"The Hotpoint DU2540 was purchased to replace a single oven. I much prefer the ease of use and versatility of this double oven. It fit into place with no problems and looks amazing in my kitchen. The control knobs are easy to see and use. It keeps its heat and cooks my cakes beautifully. It takes a little longer to get up to temperature but not that much that it deters from it’s appeal. A quick wipe down after use is so easy to do. I am very pleased with this oven."

"This isn't the best double oven. It doesn't have the best energy efficiency rating or the best list of features. But it meets our needs and is exceptional value for money.
In fact, it's the updated version of the oven we had before. That says something about our satisfaction with this model. The new one has a few cosmetic improvements which we like. It looks smart. But one practical improvement the manufacturers have made is to ditch the oven cut out when the oven door is opened. This was argued to be an efficiency feature, but was frustrating as oven temperature dropped whenever checking cooking progress. The new one doesn't do this, so we're pleased about that.
Functional & smart double oven for a modest sum."

"The Hotpoint DU2540wh Electric double oven is a fantastic oven for any family.
The oven is easy to set up from delivery and simple to operate thanks to it's clear and functional dials and a brightly illuminated timer/clock. You will find how to use the oven with ease as the oven is supplied with a very clear and easy to read manual.
The top oven is easy to use and with the grill incorporated you will save energy and heat instead of losing it as you do in some conventional ovens.
The main oven is a brilliant size and has two wide and easy to remove shelves and whats great is if you need a 3rd shelf you can remove the shelf from the top grill which allows the main oven to be flexible for all your cooking needs.
The oven looks great in our kitchen and matches our other hotpoint appliances. We have had lots of fantastic comments from our friends on how well it fits and looks in our kitchen.
The oven is easy to clean thanks to its stayclean coating. This allows the oven to self clean when set at high temperatures, so no heavy duty cleaning or strong cleaning products are required. Just a run over with a soft damp cloth is all that is required.
Overall we have been very happy with the new oven, We use it everyday and we have had fantastic cooking results from the oven compared to our old device. I would highly recommend this oven to anyone who is in the market to buy one. 10/10!"
