"I absolutely love this hob. My old one had manual controls which not only got sticky, greasy and hard to clean, but finally blew up when a pot of water boiled over and seeped under the controls and into the electrics. Not a problem with this one though. It's very easy to use and any spills are easily cleaned up. Usually it only needs a quick wipe over with glass cleaner and a paper towel, but burnt on spills come off easily with ceramic glass cleaner and a scraper.
I like the fact that you have to hold the on/off control for two seconds to actually turn it on to use it, making it hard for little hands to accidentally turn it on and burn themselves. You can also lock it to be doubly safe. I also love the fact that each ring has a timer, great for boiling eggs where I invariably walk away and forget them. The ring automatically turns off at the end of cooking time. You can also use the timer without having any of the rings on. My only criticism - and its a small one - is that the alarm on the timer isn't very loud and I can't hear it from the other room.
It also has an automatic heat up. I haven't used this yet but it allows a ring to heat quickly to maximum temperature and then return automatically to a pre-set level.
A really nice hob and a reasonable price.

"This Hob is great. Even my husband can use it and thinks it's great. Control is great and no boiling over which makes cleaning real easy. Dual ring is also a real bonus if cooking meals for one."

"Couldn't find any online reviews for this but took a chance as it seemed to have the most logical touch control layout, has a timer for each heat zone that switches off the heat zone when it gets to zero, a regular timer, and also an auto off if inadvertently left on.
Was initially looking for physical rather than touch controls, but touch is the way to go as it cleans up easily and gives the flexibility that comes with electronic controls.
Can't fault it. Looks and works great.
Regular glass cleaner brings it up like new."
