"Having read some other reviews I was a little concerned about the cycle length as a few people have said it’s very long. I think possibly the cycles look long because it ‘defaults’ to a wash and dry cycle, my previous washer dryer didn’t do this you had to add in a dry cycle. If you don’t want to wash and dry you can change this function and so reduce the time, if you do remove the drying then the cycles are no longer than most other machines.
It’s also worth noting that the dryer gets clothes VERY dry so choosing a lower setting is often more than enough.
Machine is generally very quiet apart from when it does it’s fastest spin but this isn’t in every programme setting and most programmes allow spin speed to be edited.
Most programmes are customisable in some way although not all are completely editable however I have found this as an example; when washing my dogs bedding I wanted to use a synthetics wash with direct injection, steam hygiene and triple rinse followed by a dry - this wasn’t possible however I could set the machine to wash with direct injection then once finished use a triple rinse programme With steam hygiene and finally set to just a dry programme. Possibly a little fiddly but no real drama and all done in 4 hours, may seem like a long time but some of the items were towels and I wanted a thorough clean and it’s not something done daily. I then used the self clean feature after which is really useful and will be used monthly at least.
The steam hygiene is function is brilliant for ensuring things are hygienic!
I also love the pre iron programme, so easy to pop my ironing pile in and 20 minutes later most of the creases are out and clothes are at the perfect temperature to iron and makes ironing so much quicker and easier, I use that feature before every iron.
I’m very happy with this machine and it’s far superior to any I have had before, I would suggest reading the instruction leaflet as that explains the different programme functions and load capacity as not all programmes can do 9kg.
I feel that it could benefit from a half load feature possibly, however there are plenty of programmes for different weights so not essential.
The machine seems to remember your setting preference for programmes too "

"Bought this to replace my previous Hotpoint washer dryer, which at 15 years old was still working but sounded like a plane taking off when on the spin cycle!
This machine is quiet, and I love the temperature and spin speed options on the programmes. Some programmes seem to take a long time, but still finding my way around a new machine, so it might just be me. Great drum size, and the extra large door is good too.
I was concerned that a higher spin speed might mean The clothes came out creased, but this definitely isn't the case.
The only downside was the length of electrical cable and the water intake pipe that it came with. The machine is sited next to the kitchen sink with all the relevant plumbing etc, but we had to extend the cable and trying to connect the water supply with the machine outside of its designated space was quite a struggle! We have since bought and fitted a longer hose, which means the machine can be pulled out of necessary without disconnecting.
Overall really happy with it, and if it lasts as long as my previous Hotpoint I will be very pleased!

"Purchased because of such a great price. Washer and dryer is absolutely great as whichever cycle is running you can barely hear the machine. You have to keep checking the machine is running it is really that quiet. Programming is super easy. Great item at a great price, absolutely perfect."

"I've now had this for 2 weeks. The washing element of it is superb and the machine itself is very quiet. Only downside is the drying element. I put in a small load to dry and it was still damp after 3 hours so it looks like it takes 4 hours+ for something to dry. Just a quick note about fitting - the power cable and hose is small in length so make sure the washer dryer is very close to your socket. "

"AO staff were very helpful, prompt and efficient.
The delivery team were in time and fast, and polite. They carried the washer up stairs to its new home and made sure it was working before leaving.
The product- so far- is good. To be honest, possibly over-engineered for my purposes, but I liked the look of it so I upgraded to a higher model purely for aesthetics!"
