"This is a great machine.
Given it has a 1600 spin cycle I couldn't believe how quiet it is.
The quality of the wash is good and with the extra features you know you items are getting a deep clean.
For a washer dryer the dryer is very good, yes not as quick as a stand alone dryer however fast for a combo. My old machine I would often have to put it on the dry cycle twice.
My only complaint is getting it to dry only there's no setting you press the dry only button but sometimes it seems to go onto which ever cycle it was on previously still haven't quite cracked how to do this! "

"Been an avid fan of Hotpoint for years!!! This was bought to replace my old Hotpoint Aquarius which has survived over 10yrs and a house move. Love the new modern style of this machine. Bought because I’m now in a bungalow so I was looking for a quiet machine, fits the bill exactly!! I’m looking at another 10yrs of reliable washing and drying. Very pleased I stuck with a product and company I know. "

"Good machine looks great in black. Controls easy-to-use after a couple of times. Drying cycle has a sort of sucking noise during operation ,I think this is normal. Overall very pleased ."

"Avoid this machine if you want to keep your sanity. It is ridiculously complicated to operate.
Only 4 of the 16 cycles allow the full 9Kg load. One is 4.5Kg and the rest are all 3Kg or less.
No problem though as most of the time I'd just be using the cotton cycle.
Direct injection sounds like a good idea so I choose to add that option.
We have pets so want to add extra rinse to remove all allergens. Press extra rinse. Get an error "No Selection".
Ok so you can't use Direct Injection at the same time as extra rinse. Perhaps I can use the steam feature instead, press to add steam to the cycle "No Selection".
You will get used to seeing that message with almost every button you press!!
After trying all combinations, most cycles don't allow the use of steam. You can't use direct injection and have extra rinse. And you definitely can't have all three.
The manual sheds no light on why this might be, nor any help as to which combinations are allowed. Hotpoint support were useless and just told me to read the manual.
Makes me cross every time I use this machine. I am a qualified IT professional and this is least user friendly device I have ever used!
Washing also very wet after drying."
