"This replaced my previous Zanussi washer dryer that had daily use for 14 yrs and was great. I don’t think this machine will last that long. I’d love to be proven wrong.
Some say the programmes are long. Most are as by default include a drying cycle but you can bypass that. We often use the 45 minute multi colour program and works a treat.
As for the drying it’s a bit hit and miss. I’ve seen others say about water hammer. This happens on the drying cycle. For some bizarre reason a short jet of water is plug into the drawer of the machine. Maybe this is to prevent the clothes from creasing but first dryer I’ve seen do this. So, every 30 seconds or so you hear your water pipes banging. The clothes never fully dry and resent using this dryer on anything longer than an hour.
The machine itself loves great and compliments our other graphite kitchen appliances well. The washer is pretty quiet even on fast spin. Our previous machine sounded like it was about to take off so this is a delight.

"This machine has a roomy front loading portal and despite its diminutive depth will take up to 9kg of washing and 6kg of drying. Washing programmes I've tried are good so far and it also has an auto clean function to keep the machine smelling good, which you can use about every 30 washes.
The dryer does take a while, but you don't have to tack the drying cycle on the washing cycle unless you want to, and it has a variety of settings so that you can dry to the degree you like. It's self condensing so no need for ventilation, but it does use water to do this, which uses up more water, and that means it doesn't sound like a traditional dryer when operating. That said, it's pretty quiet even on a spin if the vibrations aren't touching other surfaces in adjoining cabinets etc.
My only bugbear with it is that it doesn't come ready to go - in the sense that the chemicals it's manufactured with really come out when you first use it. I did some research on the web and this is a common problem with washer dryers but I didn't know this before I purchased one. I tried airing the clothes I'd washed and those I'd washed and dried in it, and the smell was so noxious that I had a bad headache and my sinuses burned.
However, after more than 8 washing cycles - some on auto clean and some with detergent on the highest temperature, interspersed with about 4 cycles of the 30 minute drying programme (all done on an empty machine) the smell was pretty much gone. So it's an expensive time consuming process to 'bed the machine in', but worth doing.
Looks great in my kitchen. Would recommend purchasing anti-vibration pads/coasters to sit it on if you're installing on floorboards rather than concrete. "

"Favourite thing so far is that the spin cycle is so good that even items that can’t be tumble dried come out pretty dry and air dry very quickly. It’s also quiet enough that we’ve run a few cycles overnight without being disturbed.
